Pension Ioana is located in the village Valea Stejarului, vadu Izei commune, Maramures, just 9km from Sighetu Marmatiei. If you are a traveler in Romania and you are looking for something authentic, Pension Ioana must be on your list. The pension is located in a quiet village, famous for local craftsmen and for the history-filled objectives that have stood the test of time. The pension has 10 acco...mmodation rooms, in two units, for 32 people. We have double rooms and suites with double rooms.

Pension Ioana is the ideal place to hike in nature or to discover the beautiful customs of the village. You can try the folk costume and on demand in certain seasons we can organize folk days with local musicians. All this to a food specific to the area. We welcome you with hospitality and we will guide you to the routes you can go through or to the objectives you can visit in order to take full advantage of this wonderful locality in Maramureș.

We are on the list of accommodation places in Romania that offer authentic, traditional accommodation, because we want to convey the spirit of the place. We have a 32-seat dining/conference/party room.

Outside, you can relax by fishing from the puddle with fish populated with carp and carp. Near the pond with fish is arranged a relaxation place with swing, gazebo and oven to prepare different dishes from Maramures or as desired by the tourist who comes to us.

In every accommodation, wood is the main element, for warmth and tranquility.
